The tile art produced by Keramica is inspired by the styles and structures of traditional still life subject matter and landscapes. Elements of primitive cultures as well as contemporary art exhibited in galleries and museums are incorporated in some pieces. Other designs are the reflection of special requests by individuals, tile shops, and interior decorators.

Textures drawn from natural materials in the environment such as wood, shells, bones and other organic matter are utilized in some of the art. Selection of the right color is critical to the success of the installation and a combination of underglazes, stains, oxides, and overglazes are used to obtain the desired result.

We are always working on new tile designs and colors and will gladly take your request for that special piece. Although we can usually complete a series of tiles in seven to ten business days, please allow additional time for large orders and four to six weeks for custom orders.
